Émile Guillemin or Émile-Coriolan Hippolyte Guillemin (November 16, 1841 – 1907) was a French sculptor, of the Belle Époque, pupil of his father the artist Emile Marie Auguste Guillemin.〔Fils et élève d'Auguste Guillemin. SAUR LXV 288 ; LAMI XIX III 121 ; Bt 76 V 297〕 He collaborated with Alfred Barye "Le Fils" on the artwork ''The Arab Warrior on Horseback''. This work is sometimes called as ''Cavalier Arabe''.〔 == Biography == Guillemin was born in Paris, France and specialized with the French School in the production of bronze sculptures. Guillemin debuted at an exhibition in 1870, at the Salon (Paris), and won an award in 1897.
